AC -; Revue Numismatique 1911, pg 459. Fine, earthen over dark green patina, a few tiny spots of bright green. ($300) According to Babelon, Artaxisata, named after Artaxias, was a less commonly used name for Artaxata, the capital of Armenia. Babelon deduced that the era used for the dates on these coins started from the Roman annexation of Armenia in 114 AD.
